This hybrid position is based in Madrid with flexible remote and office working.

Misión

The configuration control engineer is responsible for managing and maintaining the integrity of the configuration of the aircraft’s systems and components.

Principales Funciones

  • Change Management: Coordinate and control modifications in the design, production, and maintenance of aircraft.
  • Documentation and Traceability: Maintain accurate records of the configuration of each aircraft, including blueprints, manuals, and material lists. This ensures that any component or system can be traced in case of problems.
  • Version Control: Oversee the versions of software and hardware used in the aircraft. This involves ensuring that updates are performed correctly and do not affect the integrity of the system.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Work closely with design, manufacturing, testing, and maintenance engineers to ensure consistency and integrity of the aircraft configuration.

Experiencia

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience performing the role of configuration engineer in the aerospace sector.

Idiomas

  • Spanish and English.

Otros

Education:

  • Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Specific Knowledge:

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Knowledge of aeronautical regulations (EASA Part 21) and standards related to configuration control.
