In recent years, CRISALION Mobility has been forging its way in the hybrid and air mobility industry, making significant advances and positioning itself as a pioneer in innovative solutions. Here are some of the milestones that have marked its evolution and growth:
2018 – The Beginning with FlyFree
CRISALION Mobility begins its journey in technological development together with Tecnalia, its reference partner. With them begins the development of FlyFree, a disruptive technology that would allow CRISALION to reach a new level of aerial mobility. FlyFree becomes the heart of the air mobility solutions that the company will develop in the coming years.
2019 – First Indoor Flight
In 2019, CRISALION makes its first indoor flight in the Basque Country, a milestone that marks its first tangible foray into the field of urban aviation. This first flight represents the realisation of its vision of aerial mobility in controlled spaces and the start of a series of innovations that will gradually expand its scope.
2022 – Expansion into hybrid solutions and Testing in Europe
April 2022 was a year of transformation. CRISALION became the first company in the world to offer hybrid solutions covering both air and ground space, and the only one in Spain in the field of air mobility. This milestone is fundamental for its growth, as it expands its field of action by developing the Concept technology demonstrator, which has successfully flown in European cities such as Toulouse, Jaén and Lugo.
2023 – CRISALION Mobility is born and Strategic Alliances emerge
In 2023, CRISALION Mobility adopts its new identity, evolving from UMILES Next and reaffirming its futuristic vision. In the same year, the company continues testing its Concept prototype.
2024 – Public Investment and New Innovation Projects
2024 kicks off with a significant public investment: the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities is providing €5.4 million to CRISALION, reaffirming its confidence in its technological capabilities and its potential to revolutionise the mobility sector. This financial boost marks the start of the certification process for its Integrity electric aircraft, an ambitious project that continues to progress with outdoor drone test flights and coordination with FlyFree technology.
Finally, in 2024, CRISALION Mobility closes pre-sales agreements with 125 national and international companies, including iJet and Euroairlines (Spain), AirChateau (Dubai), and Wildbur Air (Australia), thus consolidating its expansion in global markets.
With each advancement, CRISALION Mobility is transforming the hybrid and air mobility landscape, with the goal of providing comprehensive solutions that respond to the demands of a more connected, efficient and sustainable future.
